One hot afternoon, after yet another failed setup, we looked at each other and thought - there has to be a better way.

That’s how Sol Umbra was born - a simple idea to make beach shade easy. We wanted something that looked great, was light to carry, quick to set up, and strong enough to stand its ground.

After months of sketching, testing, and perfecting, we created a sun shade that blends design, comfort, and durability.
